The ingredient score
One score, built from sources you can actually check.
We don't call foods "good" or "bad." We combine three things — how processed it is, which additives it contains, and what public residue data says — into a single number so you can make an informed choice in a few seconds.
01 · Processing
NOVA classification
Every ingredient is mapped to a NOVA group (unprocessed, culinary ingredient, processed, ultra-processed). The score reflects the share of ultra-processed content, not a blanket verdict.
02 · Additives
Regulatory context
Additives are cross-referenced with EFSA, FDA and Codex evaluations. We surface where an additive is approved, restricted, or under active review — not whether it's 'good' or 'bad'.
03 · Residue
Pesticide residue notes
For fresh produce we highlight residue monitoring findings from public datasets so you can weigh conventional versus organic where it actually matters.
