Editorial lead — food science & nutrition (interim byline)

The editorial team maintains the NakedCalorie knowledge base. Every article is drafted against primary sources — peer-reviewed cohort studies, regulatory reviews from the FDA, EFSA, and JECFA, and the NOVA framework as published by Carlos Monteiro and colleagues at the University of São Paulo.

This is an interim byline. Once the named editor onboards, every knowledge-base page will be re-attributed and the author page will carry full credentials plus `sameAs` links (LinkedIn, ORCID, and publications). Until then, articles are labelled clearly so readers know the review is in progress.

Editorial standards

· Reads and cites primary literature — peer-reviewed cohort studies, regulatory reviews, and the NOVA framework
· Follows the NakedCalorie house tone: calm, factual, non-judgmental
· Refreshes every knowledge-base article on a 6–9 month cadence
